I wasn't paying total attention to the F1 race...but did they say that they have to run the whole race on one set of tires...and if there isn't a certain number of grooves left at the end of the race on each tire they could be disqualified?
That's a tough rule!!

Yeah, I think NASCAR will try that sometime, too.  Fits everything else it's been doing in the name of "equalizing the competition."

It certainly makes for a strange race.  It would make more sense to go with a certain number of tires for the entire weekend.
