Please go to this page to see how everyone fared this week:

http://www.speedcouch.com/fantasyleague/

If anyone decided to play and didn't email me, please let me know so I can add you to the rankings.  If you didn't get in before Daytona, you can always register before California and join the fun.

Dick, you didn't "name" your team at the Collective Racing site, so I took the liberty of calling it "Old Hot Rodders" this week.  If you'd like to call it something else, just let me know.

Thanks!

Works for me, Cheryl. On occasion, we old folks have memory lapses. Cheesy

Well Kevin, I am still the one looking up the results and sorting them you know !    Lou just set up the webpage for me.

We enjoyed seeing you at the party as always.  Too bad you couldn't stay until the end though.

I am disappointed in my finish, but I can explain it away by saying that I was stupid.

Specifically, I picked Robby Gordon for one of the nine slots, but he failed to qualify.  I should have gone back to the web site and traded for another driver, and had three days to do it.  But I did nothing.

Then again, Tony Stewart finished 43rd in the 2002 Daytona 500 and went on to win the championship, so it's not over yet.

Typical male chauvenist attitude from you, Kevin!

Seems like you thought it was too much work when I asked you to look up the scores for the fantasy league last year.     So which part of it is the "most work" I wonder?

Desmond-
I cannot tell you how many times I've picked a driver only to learn later that he failed to qualify for the race.  (Note to self: check qualifying results before it is too late to make a trade in the fantasy league.)   Kevin

Sorry, Ron, but you never wrote me to tell me you joined the fantasy league.  If you did, I never got the email.

I'll go back and add you today and make sure to include in the results after California.

Glad to have another player!

Is Chelsea the part of NYC where you live?   I've heard of that area, mostly since it's where Bobby Flay from the Food Channel has his restaurant, Mesa Grill.  We've always wanted to go the NYC to visit it.

Ron,

It must be pretty expensive living there.  Hope your job pays well.

Also, though it pains to ask, did you watch the World Trade Center towers get hit and then collapse from your home?
