The show will be about DEI's lousy performance Sunday NOT the guys who have to make the 500. Jimmy Johnson will be the sub-story.

Let's hope not.  After all, the "Twin 150s" are all about getting into the biggest race of the year (or at least it was until NASCAR changed the system).

Unfortunately, the smaller teams barely have the money to run their cars, and certainly have nothing left for Fox. Sad

Well it was not as bad as I thought, but where was the camera in Kevin Lepage's pit with about 5 laps to go? Also I still do onot understand why most drivers are not interviewed after dropping out of the race. ESPN and TNN did, whether it was Earnhardt or Hylton.

Let's remember my request to put SPOILER in any post about the race, okay?

That said, I thought the race coverage was too overly concerned with the DEI cars, and anyone named Earnhardt (as usual).  I don't know why I expected anything different, but I did...

About predictions on who or what will be the main story, my guess (partially because it has already starting to come to fruition) is Mark Martin, just as it was for the championship last year.  There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that the media wants him to win the 500.  I am already tired of hearing about his last chance.  What about Rusty?  I'd like to hear more about him deserving a win, also.

I had to vent on that subject.  If I offended anyone, then i'm sorry.  There are many drivers out there who need and deserve a win, IMO.
