I just thought to check thatsracin and found an article about the truck race.  This is what they say about the injured drivers (Rick Crawford, Tina Gordon, Hank Parker, Jr., Joey Clanton) from that bad wreck:

"Hospital officials said Crawford was treated for a fractured left foot and released. Gordon was being treated for a fractured right fibula (lower leg). Parker Jr. was undergoing tests Saturday evening, as was Joey Clanton, who was hurt in a later wreck."

Damn!  That is really bad for Crawford and Gordon!  The only good news is that they have 4+ weeks to recuperate before the next race at Martinsville.  Sure hope Hank is okay.  He looked to take a real bad hit.

I heard on Speed News that Hank Jr was having some back pain, and was being kept for observation.  Does it make sense to anyone that Darlington is getting safer barriers, and MIS, California, and Pocono, which have such terrible crashes, don't have them yet? Sad
