Is the boiler plate wall easier or harder to hit than the concrete wall.

Three times during the 1989 racing season at pocono the old boiler plate wall pocono used was broken and or destroyed.

During the 1989 july pocono cup race during a commercial break after jimmy hortons crash and after the sacks speed thing bob jenkins said that is really ridiculous i tend to disagree with jenkins on this comment.

I think i,d rather see a guy hit a boiler plate wall head on and be realatively uninjured than see a guy hit a concrete wall head on and be seriously injured or worse.

Ned jarrett in the july 1989 race during the same commercial break that jenkins made his comment ned said next year i,ll bet they,ll have concrete walls up and ned was right.
