I do not  i did not and still do not trust nascar.

Can anybody tell me the answer or guess it?

If no one can guess the answer i will tell the answer.

Allright since no one else has guessed the answer to this question i will answer the question myself.

Here is the answer.

The answer is.

Tim richmond.

In that same interview tim went onto also say.

The power within is too large for little timmy richmond or whoever outthere to deal with up to this point.

Yes tim richmond was talking about nascar.

Those comments were made in febuary of 1988 tim made some other comment about nascar where they picked hard enough that he was going to bite or fightback.

Ironically richmond was 1 of many of several drivers who drove for rick hendrick.

He drove for rick in 1986 and part of 1987.

Tim won 10 or 11 races in the #25 car.

He won 8 in 1986 finished 3rd in the drivers championship.

Imagine if richmond had won the 1986 championship. That would not have made nascar happy.

As richmond would not have been a corporate champion.

I think espn and nascar got into it 1 day over tim richmond in july 1989 i think espn and a few of the crews knew richmond was in bad shape and they wanted to do a tribute or a piece on him or something like that.

I,m pretty sure espn and nascar got into it.

Cause benny said something about don,t you just know nascars hot about that.

And bob jenkins said there not talking to us.

Both comments were made during a commercial break.

Bryan, it also didn't help that Richmond suffered from AIDS, which was announced as "double pneumonia" when he began missing races.  Those in NASCAR suspected that he was gay, which to them is an unpardonable sin.

I can understand why Richmond hated NASCAR so much.

But you do not have to be gay to get the aids disease or virus whatever it is called.

If i remember right though back in the 1980,s whenever anyone got aids didn,t the public think they were gay or something.

I think that,s a stupid assumption for anybody to make about anybody.
