I just heard on the radio of an earthquake in California this morning.  Hope Desmond and anyone else out that way are doing okay.  Let us hear from you, please.

Vivian, I know you are in Oregon, but I hope there are no effects up your way either.

All is well in Oregon.  Guess the location was about halfway between San Francisco and L.A.  I guess they felt it in S.F. but haven't heard anything about L.A.  Maybe Desmond will let us know later on today.  Hope so anyway.

Didn't feel a thing here because it was centered in central California in a town, Parkfield, which has much seismic activity.  It may have been felt in the San Fernando Valley or even downtown L.A., but not here farther south.
