in the braodcast of the IRL race on Sunday.  I could not believe it.  They were using only one at a time and the drivers head was in a regangular block with a very wide pointer with a bold line on the inside of it.  Reminded me of the tail portion of the Pontaic logo.
Did anyone else watch that race?

I happened to stop on it for a minute while flipping channels and noticed ESPN was now using a "ticker" along the top of the screen. The last new races I watched on ESPN was the truck series in 2002 and they weren't using this stuff back then.   I really hate to see them adopting this junk from Fox and NBC.
