I just read this...found it interesting

On Pit Bull tonight, all the media guys were saying that everyone there was dragging.  Maybe moving a Labor Day race from a place where it's a BIG DEAL to a place where few know or care has some consequences after all.  They also pointed out that the "excitement" of the crapshoot isn't translating into TV ratings (down for the last 3 races), or hot ticket sales.  Hmmm.

two things:  If there is intense racing from points positions 8 and back whatever tv fans they have won't get to see it.  TV only shows the top 5 usually.

TV ratings may be down due to the hype.  I am so sick of hearing the same thing over and over and over every broadcast.   :roll:
