Things are better. First they thought it was maybe something in the gall bladder area, then they said the blood work showed signs of heart issues so they ran her through some cardiac tests and stress tests. Everything came back A-OK, and the pain went away eventually, so they aren't sure what it was except if was not the heart, which is good.

Thank you all for your well wishes! I'm feeling much better now.
The final conclusion seems to be some sort of really bad acid reflux which I've never really had before. I would not doubt that my job is giving me an ulcer or something like that. But they gave me some medicine to block the acid and it seems to be working fine. I'm going to see my regular doctor on Wednesday, so hopefully he'll have some more ideas about what the problem is.
Again, thanks for everyone's good thoughts. You have no idea how much it means to me.

glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better and it's not heart issues. still on the mend with my dad who had quadruple bypass three weeks ago.
