J. Mayfield along with 2 other crew members, 1 from the 34 team, the other from the 16 nationwide team were suspended for Substance abuse.

I heard most of Jeremy's call into Sirius/XM last night.  He's starting to sound like he's accusing everyone of anything he can in his defense of himself.  Here's some interesting updates from Jenna Fryer:

It looks like a "sad end to a sorry episode," to quote A. Bartlett Giamatti, who was commissioner of Major League Baseball when Pete Rose was banned for life.

Even if Mayfield is cleared of everything, he has such a huge stigma that sponsors will not come to him.  And now he's dragging this story into soap-opera territory.  Very sad. Cry

I don't see this ending well for either side.  As for NASCAR spiking his test, what do they have to gain by doing that?  I think they'd have lot more to lose if they did indeed do that.
