In 2005, I wondered what would happen if NASCAR's greatest drivers all came together for a season's worth of races.  I used my imagination, some historic data, and an Excel spreadsheet to run an all-time season.  But I wasn't satisfied with the earlier results and started to tweak with it.  It's still set in the same time period, so the new numbers for some of the current stars and veterans since then have not been factored in.

I am putting the "replay" on another forum, which is called The506.  The forum is a spin-off of a site showing what TV stations show what NFL games every week.  It gets its name from the home area code of its founder, J.P. Kirby, who lives in New Brunswick, Canada.

I'm adding a new race result each week or so for all the series (Winston Cup, Busch, and truck) on the posts.  To review the results, please see these threads:

Check them out and tell me what you think.  Are these results realistic?  Who do you think would win a season-long series with all these drivers?  Remember to respond as if this was 2005 rather than 2009.
