Just read on Jayski that Tommy Baldwin's father was killed last night in a modified race.  Going to be a hard weekend for Tommy.

I saw the news this morning too.  I agree it will be very difficult for Tommy this weekend.  I think his father raced in the modified or truck race at Richmond when we were there a couple of years ago.  I guess the only consolation for his family is he died doing what he loved...

Tommy Baldwin has decided to be in the pit box today at Michigan International Speedway.  He said that his father loved racing very much and would have wanted to see his son at the race track.

That decision had to be the most difficult of his life.  Baldwin would have been second-guessed either way.

In any case, no one would mind if Baldwin led Kasey Kahne to the win today.
