I just read this in USA Today, sounds like Sunday's race is secondary to the gimmick.
This Sunday Fox "will plop production assistant Chris Pizzi in the track's all-you-can-eat section - such sections, popping up across sports, lets you buy a high-priced ticket and then gorge your way to recoup your costs- and will have an onscreen clock showing how long it takes Pizzi to break even. The onscreen clock should make it easier for viewers to project Pizzi's pit stops."
PLEASE JUST STICK TO THE RACE

Jeez...Somebody at Fox is obviously totally bored with racing these days.  Ugh...

I did not see this. Was this during the pre race or hopefully scrapped? Maybe USA Today had some bad info, although they did mention it again later in the week.

This was shown during the pre-race.  I don't know how much Chris ate, as I fast-forwarded through all of it.
