This author points out why I don't think any of today's "analysts" are unbiased or should be believed when speaking out on most issues.  Waltrip has had a tie to the Toy cars for several years AND a brother at the heart of controversy, plus I've never understood how Jimmy Spencer all of a sudden became the voice of reason:

I have long wondered why there have been no disclosures of such ties on NASCAR broadcasts.  In other sports, on other networks, there is at least a disclosure, and in some cases those who are close to the situation are not allowed to go on the air at all.

Desmond, I would imagine that part of their (DW et al) pay in benefits are stocks in the Company and therefore they can not legitimately do the type of disclosure that it would call for.

Any ideas about this, Dick?

They COULD make a disclosure, but they probably feel that they do not have to, so,....

I guess I expect so little from them that I just don't care whether they do or not. Roll Eyes
