I'm all aquiver with anticipation and will be on the edge of my couch until the very moment it's announced, wearing my t-shirt that says "I'm with stupid".

It looks like we'll be putting up with a 1-hour prerace show, too. I believe I saw on some other network that the green flag flies at around 4:45 PM ET. Fox's coverage starts at 3:30 PM ET.

Oh good grief!  So much for consistent start times... Sad  I'm so glad there's no actual primetime shows on Sunday night that I want to watch right now.

In case anyone cares, the winning name is "Digger." Wink  Then again, I'm probably the only one who cares.[sigh]

As for the long pre-race show: Maybe because the ratings for Fontana plunged with the Monday start, advertisers had to be given free commercials, and the volume of such ads caused Fox to extend the show.

Uh....like we could fail to miss the HUGE graphics we were bombarded with all day yesterday when Fox was suppose to be showing us actual racing...

I guess I feel like if I wanted to watch cartoons, I'd tune into the Cartoon Network.  When will Fox ever get this?  Or are they only catering to kids now??   Roll Eyes  I hear all the under-10 set loves BBB too.

It annoys the heck out of me when  Sunday AFTERNOON football cuts short the Simpsons and King of the Hill, and it will annoy me if any of the FOX Sunday night shows get cut because of NASCAR. Those are the only  prime time shows I watch.

I couldn't believe the damn race wasn't over until nearly 8:30 this week!  Pretty soon, I'll be falling asleep during Cup races just like the truck races since they start so late.   Shocked
