This is an article I saw link on the Tivo forum.  Kind of humorous email to oneself in 1982.  I love the points he make about all the advances we've had and how we still complain.  I'm not saying this is a reason to accept bad race coverage, but it's still kind of funny.  I think the writer stole this idea from Brad Paisley's current song "A letter to me..."

Thanks for reminding us how things have changed in the last 25 years!  There is no specific mention of NASCAR, but there is no doubt that the boom in televised sports has benefited fans everywhere.

BTW, Cheryl, "your" Middies have lost their head coach.  Paul Johnson is headed for Georgia Tech.
