i know this is not not nascar related. we lost a great man in sports
wally parks  founder of NHRA  (1913-2007. i was surfing the NHRA  site found the news. what a great man and visonary. . he founded Wally Parks Musuem.  Sad

Parks was quite a guy. The NHRA did a lot of good things for we old time hot rodders.

Wow.  We have lost Bill France, Jr. and Wally Parks in the same year.  What would the world of racing look like without them?

He did so much for so many and helped make dreams come true for them.
