Another part of our forum mentioned Aaron's as a racing sponsor.  Isn't this a company that charges only a $99 down payment, then charges enormous interest rates for the rest of the purchase price for as long as 36 months?  Is it also true that companies like Aaron's, Rent-a-Center and Blue Hippo (computers) are not allowed to operate in some states because of these interest rates?

Also, is the stuff sold at Aaron's new or used, for the most part?

I have seen several flyers from there as we have one about 40 miles away.  They advertise stuff for sale and if you compare the purchase price to a year's rental you are paying a lot more in the end for whatever you rent if you then decide to buy the item.  I saw a couple of items about twice as much
