From a link at Jayski

I thought this was a good article.  And I especially liked this remark he made:

Quote
"If you ask me an honest question, you deserve to have an honest answer - whether it's politically correct or not, whether it's popular or not."

Vivian---thought that you would like to know that Gary London, writing in Speed Sport News, says about the same thing, that Tony is his own man and may well walk away from Nascar when his Contract with Joe G runs out. London is an old curmudgeon from New York, and tends to think the way we do.
 Time will tell.

Stewart also spoke of talking to NASCAR officials first before making any comments similar to what he made the Tuesday before last on the radio.  Not a bad idea... Smiley

Not a bad idea is right, Desmond, but Nascar would have stifled Tony, I'll betcha. Sad

And what Ed Hinton said to Dave Despain still runs through my head...

They say they want the drivers to speak freely, but really, they don't mean it...

"Freely" in this case means like Mikey "I love Nascar" Waltrip.

exctly...you're freeto say whatever you like...even away from the track, as long as it makes Nascar look good.
