I don't believe NA$CAR's 70 million fans have generated enough leverage to warrent such a deal, but it's kind of interesting.  I haven't paid much attention to MLB since the Oakland A's with Reggie Jackson and Rollie Fingers were hot, but I can't help but think this deal has the financial underling's, masquerading as Baby Barnum's brain, getting their IPods out.

That post is not clear, James.  Do you mean NASCAR Hot Pass, which already exists, bundled in with a new 24-hour network like NBA TV or NFL Network?
