Here's an article from thatsracin.com's blogs by Mark Young, including a lot of feedback from other viewers.  Only one person that I saw thought it was good out of many comments.  That ought to tell Fox something:

Not sure if I saw it in this blog or elsewhere, but the best suggested use of the GSP in the 3D thing was that Fox could use it to find the debris on the track instead.   Grin

Good article and the feedback was very akin to what most of us think.  A couple maybe disagreed but overall, it was similar

FOX 3D adds nothing to the race broadcast.

Point to Ponder: I wonder how the camera operators for FOX feel about this animation toy.
If I was a camera operator at a NASCAR race & the network is using an animation toy to explain
an on-track incident, I would be seriously offended.  Does FOX trust the production crew,
particularly the camera operators, to cover the race?

I had a brain ...."pause" when I first saw that.  I love to watch racing, even better when I can smell the rubber, fuel burning, etc.  To degrade my love of racing to cartoon carictures is a further insult to my limitied intelligence.  Next race, I won't put my teeth in.

I'm keeping with NASCAR's theme.."Idiot of Tomorrow" so Speedcouch needs a new resident idiot.

The same article mentioned a corn-dog fight in the booth.  I agree with the poster, in that what good does that accomplish?  I'm sure that somewhere in heaven, Benny is either crying or throwing up.  Maybe even both. Cry
