The other night, Claire B. Lang had the engine builder for DEI on her show.  This was before the engine failures, so I have no idea if that was related to unleaded fuel or just the new Chevy engine.  Anyway, I think his name is Richie Gilmore and he said that the drivers end up with a really bad headache after running unleaded fuel.  I'm assuming he was basing this on results from the truck and Busch races where they ran unleaded last season.  It was something about the way the exhaust comes out or something.  While I'm all for saving the environment, I sure hope they find a way to protect the drivers since they're running unleaded all the time now.

So that explains David Reutimann yesterday.  That, and the huge crash he had in the race.

That is the first I've heard of that headache problem. I think they need to tackle it---are you ready?---HEAD ON, HEADON, HEADON.!!!!
