Team Changes...Sounds more like a "who's on first" routine though if you ask me.  I've got absolutely no use for this buying car numbers up in the first place, but now they don't even have to keep the same number (which began last year in Cup).  Just ridiculous if you ask me.

I don't know if it is that ridiculous for the Busch series. If this is what some of these Busch only teams, like the #0, need to do to go against the Whackers; let them. It's the Cup teams that kept these Busch only teams down in the points As long as their are non Cup teams I still have a small interest in the series.

Don't get me wrong, Brian, I support the Busch regulars in whatever they have to do to compete with the Whackers.  It's just that this buying/trading numbers thing got out of control in Cup last year.  If you buy a team fine, but then monkeying around with numbers and points, just doesn't seem right to me.

If Nascar would just let them race, and quit trying to micro manage every little thing, then we could have a lot more fun.

The end of the article stated that Casey Mears is on his third car this weekend because of crashes in consecutive practices.  Well, that third car will actually be a #5 Busch Series car, renumbered #24 and repainted.  That no doubt made for a long night in the garage.

P.S. Martin Truex Jr. in the #11 has to qualify on time, according to the article.  Wasn't the #11 high enough in last year's standings for a guaranteed spot?  Confusing... Huh?
