On my way to work this morning I was listening to the local National Public Radio station.  During their business news, they had some  info that I thought many of you here would find interesting.  They said that Nextell/Sprint was laying off 5000 workers.  It seems that they lost 300,000 customers this past year.  I know that Consurmers Report, comparing wireless networks, consistantly rates them at or near the bottom of carriers.  Glad to know that Nascar connection is working out so well.

Yeah, I was reading about that.  They are spending big bucks on improving their network, but laying people off.

BTW, I'm proud to say I was one of those 300,000 customers that dumped Sprint last year.
