Another interesting article from Dave Newton of ESPN about the Buschwackers:

This is one of the enlightened quotes by this year's "Busch" champion about the presence of the whackers:

"It's what the people want to see in the grandstands,"

As I always say, today's NA$CAR drivers are totally out of touch with the fans... Angry  As usual, they are only listening to the suits in Daytona, TV, sponsors, and their own personal agendas.

Mike Helton's quote is even more telling, Cheryl. They are not about to tell anyone not to do something, right?? "That's not the way we do business".
 Yeah, right. Sure.
Nascar does what suits them, the France family primarily. Helton has a way of really irritating me. Cry
 Oh well,...

How many of the total fans are in the grandstands?  And how many of us truly feel that the whackers are ruining the lesser series?  And does the fact that the big money teams have so many running have anything to do with Anheiser Busch dropping out as series sponsor after 2007?Huh???
