Mike Hembree of NASCAR Scene tells it like it is about "reality" TV and the worst phrase in racing:

You know, I have always like Joe Scarbourough.  However, the last few days of the Miss USA debaucle and now the words between the Trump and Rosie has just turned me off him, even.  And it is highly speculated that the Trump did it for ratings on his new L.A. reality show.

IMO, too bad a lot of people have to find enjoyment in this sort of thing along with the very phony, IMO, reality shows.  I don't mean to offend you, Desmond, by saying that.

Personally, I prefer all the CSI shows and my current favorite is Shark. I know they are phony also and just a show, but at least I don't feel they insult my integrity.

Cheryl, if this post is overboard, let me know & I will edit.   Azn

What were some of Joe Scarborough's comments?

The difference is they don't claim to be anything but a work of fiction, so we know they aren't "reality."

I like Shark too!  James Woods is really good in that role.

The CSI's are getting a bit blagh IMHO.  I like NY best lately, but can't stand Miami (I think David Caruso is the worse excuse for an actor I've ever seen).   Roll Eyes  Only watched it once and that's all we could take of him.  We still watch the original CSI, but I could probably live without it.  Too much gratuitous gore takes the place of good plots IMHO.

My favorite shows are:  Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Heroes, 24, NCIS, and Jericho.  The Unit is pretty good too, but like CSI, I could probably live without it.  Dexter on Showtime was awesome, but it just finished up it's first season.  As to comedies, we like Scrubs and My Name is Earl.
