Actually, Desmond, I believe one of the 'official' polls still has Michigan ranked # 2, Ohio # 1.  So, who knows what the final results will be when they vote on bowl appearances/

Sally, that was a heckuva game, no doubt that it was a great tribute to Bo.
I'll bet he and Woody were up in heaven going nuts about the inability of either defense to dominate. 81 poinnts in an OSU/Michigan game??? Sacrelidge! :-D
Looks like Desmond is correct, unless S C stumbles tonight.
And BTW, I always root for Mich when they play a non conference foe. GO BUCKS! GO BIG TEN! :smt038

Same for me.  As long as OSU isn't playing my boys in maize and blue, I'll root for the Big Ten team.

THE PLOT THICKENS!

#2 ranked USC was upset today by unranked UCLA.  Michigan was ranked #2 behind USC.  So....who plays OSU for the National Title?

Well, there will be no rematch.  The football polls jumped Slorida ahead of U of M into second place, so they will play Ohio for the 'championship'.  Michigan plays USC.  They're almost as bad as Nascar!  The #2 team loses to the #1 team by 3 points in the most watched college football game in 13 years.  The #2 team gets beaten by an unranked team, and Florida barely suqeaks by a mediocre team.  Guess TV couldn't stand that many people watching a college game, eh?

Oh well...bing a Big Ten team, I'm used to the Rose Bowl being the one I watch.

GO BLUE!

And here's the rest of the Bowl Championship Series lineup:
*Rose: Michigan vs. USC
*Fiesta: Oklahoma vs. Boise State
*Orange: Louisville vs. Wake Forest
*Sugar: Notre Dame vs. LSU

Bye for now!  See all of you in January!

All I did all weekend was watch football.  Some good, some crazy games

I don't understand them ranking FL above MI now.  IMO, MI should meet Ohio again.  But what do I know?

I'll not try to either explain nor justify the Florida selection. (tho somebody said that the Big 10 would keep ALL the $ if OSU And Mich were to play for all the marbles, and that would NOT go over well with the SEC, for instance).
Because one of my sons in law is a Gator grad, and the other 2 are big Buckeye fans, this matchup should be quite interesting in our family.
 Have a great weekend everyone.
