Just read this :

http://www.thatsracin.com/mld/thatsracin/15873709.htm

Speed is dropping '7 Days' and 'Beyond the Wheel'...the only 2 worthwhile shows they have about Nascar.  even worse, they will be adding a live audience to IWC.  If we think Mikey is insufferable NOW, can you imagine how bad he will be with a live audience to play to?  BIG MISTAKE!

It seems like that new head of SPEED just loves the "audience participation" shows where are the fans try to outdo each other in being obnoxious.  I agree with you Sally, those two documentary type shows (just like NBS 24/7) were the best racing shows on TV.  So, of course, SPEED cancels them. Wouldn't want any quality shows on their network.

Just my hunch, folks, but after the novelty wears off, the ratings will plummet for these silly shows. I find all the "fans" in the background each trying to get 5 seconds of air time to be obnoxious and irritating. Hopefully they will grow up.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

Seriously, isn't that the kind of shows we want from SPEED Channel, in-depth features on our favorite sport?  Oh, well, more drag races, car rebuilds, and B-grade movies for everyone! :x
