Just saw this on Jayski!  Great to hear Benny may have beaten the cancer!

"Benny Parsons, who has battled lung cancer this summer, got some great news Wednesday. Doctors say they are confident that recent chest scans show no sign of a tumor. Benny will undergo a follow-up scan in the coming months, however recent chemotherapy and radiation treatments apparently have eradicated the malignant mass.(PRN's Garage Pass eadio show)(10-12-2006)"

Good for Bennie.
BTW, it looked like the treatments have pretty much eradicated all his hair, too. Now he looks even more like me! (poor guy). :-D At least I don't have to worry about losing all my hair if I ever have to have chemo/radiation! Cheesy  Gotta look at the bright side.

I join the rest of the gang in congratulating Benny Parsons for beating cancer.

Parsons has said that he will probably retire from TV after the season.  It's great that he will be able to enjoy his life away from the track.
