Now I remember why I love this track!  Starting with the Busch East race on Friday, then the Busch race, and ending with the daddy of race battles for the last 30 or so laps yesterday.  Wow!  Way to go Kenseth and Burton, battling each other cleanly for so many laps!

Races like this remind me why I became a race fan in the first place!  I can't remember seeing a drawn out battle for the lead like this for many, many years!   :smt038

It's a shame Kenseth ran out of gas at the end.  I'm guessing he would've had plenty of fuel had he not had to battle Burton for so long and so hard.  But it still stinks that he didn't at least get 2nd.

Yep, 2 of my favorites going at it, racin' the way it ought to be.
Believe me, my friends on the Burton's Believers board are mighty happy today, as am I. I do wish Matt had managed a second, but such is life. Jeff beat one of the very best, so this long overdue win has to be great for him. Cheesy  Cheesy

Jeff Burton seems to have a very pleasing personality away from the track.  I would love to spend a day with him.

I also love the fact that he is interested in things other than racing.  He follows world events avidly and has even talked about running for the United States Senate someday.
