Well atleast we won't be without Wally in 2007.

TNT announced that it has agreed to a multi-year contract agreement with TNT/NBC NASCAR analyst Wally Dallenbach to continue his role exclusively with TNT beginning in 2007 for the network’s Nextel Cup coverage. Dallenbach, a TNT analyst since 2001, will join play-by-play announcer Bill Weber in the booth as TNT kicks off its new seven-year NASCAR package next June with six consecutive Nextel Cup Series races, a first in Turner’s 24 years of NASCAR coverage, including marquee races at Daytona, California (Sonoma) and Chicago.

The pieces are starting to come together, and one wonders how many of the other NBC/TNT announcers will stay with TNT.

If the majority of them do, the next question is how ABC/ESPN will find their announcers and pit reporters.  Will they come from MRN? PRN? Other ESPN assignments? Or will there be a current Fox/FX reporter who will defect?

All of the FOX/Speed announcers have resigned for the new deal. TNT has stated they may use pit reporters and other announcers from both FOX and ABC.

Unfortunately, that's not what Brenden meant.  He meant re-signed, meaning all of them will return and assuring that we'll hear BBB again next year. :smt078
