That was an exciting finish, that's for sure!  Lou and I agree with Todd's assessment of what happened as opposed to Skinner's version.

Was glad to see JB benefit from all of it though.   :-D

What is it about Nashville and bizarre finishes?

On Easter weekend, 2004, Kyle Busch and Clint Bowyer collided going for the win on the final lap, handing the win to Michael Waltrip.  Saturday's race looked just like that.

Johnny Benson also mentioned some other bizarre finish in a Busch race he was involved in there, but I don't remember what details he gave.

Anyway, congratulations to JB and I hope Brenden was watching the race.  He is no doubt happy. Cheesy

Did I make it clear to you that the Busch race Benson was involved in with the bizarre finish was not this year's?  (I know I'll get in trouble with the Mean Mommie, but she's not perfect, either.)

I guess because of so many races on Saturday (and them overlapping), Desmond's post just confused me.  Plus we "watched" the timing and scoring for the Hooters race at pretty much the same time we were watching the truck race Saturday night.

I guess I am just overloaded on racing and still recuperating.

As Lou and I used to say (and probably picked up from TV) a couple years ago "enough racing to make your head spin."

Finally got to watch our tape of the truck race.  The finish was a good one and I really liked it that Johnny got another win.

Like Cheryl, I think Todd's assessment of the incident was much more accurate than Mike's.  In fact, I feel Mike wrecked himself.

However, what I also found most interesting was Angie throwing down the clipboard and storming down the ladder.  Then they were showing Mike in the pits after the race and he reached over to Angie and she just shrugged his hand off and stormed away.  Now that makes for interesting tv.  :-D
