This is the commericals & laps shown for 13 of 14 Craftsmen Truck Series Races:  (currently missing Charlotte)  The list is in no particular order of the actual schedule.

The calculator says this is a percentage of 76.01% shown but seeing several races of under 70%, I question the ratio.
 
 With the off week, I will attempt to catchup with the other numbers &
hope to pass them along soon.

Welcome back, JW!!!  And thanks for the report on the truck races.  I'm not surprised at how dismal the percentages are though.  SPEED's coverage really has become a joke lately.

JW!  We missed you!  so glad to have you back...and I still don't know how you manage to keep track of all that stuff.  You need to forward some of those stats to ESPN so they can see exactly why fans are so unhappy with the 'best TV coverage' (according to Baby Brian).

It is interesting that JW's numbers are gleaned from the Craftsman Truck Series.  Can we take that to mean that he no longer watches the Nextel Cup Series?  If so, I can understand that. Cheesy

I suspect JW tracked the commercial numbers on the truck series because I requested he do so some time last season.

Once again, JW, Welcome Back!

Thanks for the stats.  It is getting worse.  And to think Nascar now controls the tv broadcasts totally.  Probably by season's end, we will be down to about 50% viewing of the race.  The no side by side really irks me.

Sally, thanks for that link.  It was a well written article and just goes to prove more and more people are getting disenchanted with Nascar.

In the linked article, Brent Hecker mentions the "little dots across the screen."  That's TrackPass, and remember that someone else on this forum (Sally?) has asked about the possible connection between the denial of "side-by-side" and NASCAR's desire to sell TrackPass.

As for his description of NASCAR InCar, that's pretty interesting.  "Lots of time looking at walls" or something like that.  By the way, I think that InCar is no longer available.  I want someone else to confirm this.
