While he's not one of my favorite drivers, Paul Menard did a wonderful job saving his car after Kevin Harvick got into him Saturday night.  It's always great to see a first-time winner!

Glad to see a REAL Busch regular get a win this week (though the whackers tried their best to deny him).

Also, just heard this on XM this morning:  Claire had some sound bites from the Busch post race press conference.  Apparently a lot of the Cup drivers were pretty pissed off that Harvick and Clint Bowyer got to start where they qualified though they missed the Busch drivers meeting.  Hamlin, Yeley, and Edwards had to start in the back.  Hamlin was most outspoken saying the rule book says even if you are there for quals if you miss the drivers mtg, you go to the back.  He said "NASCAR has different rules for superstars..."  The other three didn't get there in time to qualify or attend the drivers' meeting.  Quite interesting...Now the "mini-cup" points leader is getting special treatment by NA$CAR?  Not bashing Harvick, but more of NA$CAR's inconsistent application of the rules.

Maybe NASCAR was secretly rewarding the pilot of the RCR charter plane for flying them from California to Wisconsin on time.
