Yes, Monte (as always) makes some great points.  I'd forgotten all about Kahne keeping the lead while pitting and the caution coming out.  Of course, I HAVE seen that before (at Pocono I think), but it's still a bit bizarre to me.  But I do understand it, I guess.

He reminded of a question I had after the announcers explained (what seemed to me) to be yet another twist on the charity pass.  Sunday night, they told us "if you get penalized on pit road and lose a lap, you are not eligible for the lucky dog."  Okay....but then apparently the next caution, you are?   :?   I swear, I never used to believe NA$CAR made the rules up as they go along, but this sure sounded like it.  Can anyone explain to me their understanding of that "rule?"
