I will not watch the Rolling Stones at halftime of Super Bowl XL.  Here's why.

Two years ago, after the "wardrobe malfunction," the National Football League promised that in the future it would only present musical acts that everyone could identify with, and that would stand up as role models for youth.  The Stones are neither.  Next time, listen to "Satisfaction" carefully and you'll know what I'm talking about.  I think it's a song about--GASP!--casual sex!

And, without getting political, why would the NFL pick a band that has performed a song critical of President Bush?  Especially because, for the last five seasons, all players have worn American flags on the back of their helmets, and the league have donated to a fund dedicated to the memory of Pat Tillman.

The NFL has fumbled, and I have to blow the whistle on them.
