TNT kept the cameras glued on Martin Truex after he was ridden onto the wall last night, and finally managed to capture him making a gesture that many of us would have made under the same circumstances.  Will Nascar fine him the now standard 25 points and $25K?  And should they?  I thought he showed remarkable restraint under the circumstances myself.

I was really thankful Martin Truex was okay after that ride.  I have never seen a car stay on the side so long without rolling over.  I have to be careful what I say here, but I would like to repeat what one announcer alluded to some time ago.  Why is it that Mike Wallace only gets fill in rides rather than full time rides??? :smt017

BTW, there was really no competition for the win in that race just like the next day in the Cup race.

Then again, he can't be OK with a 25-point penalty and $10,000 fine. :x
