Last week at Bristol, of course, Kevin Harvick almost left the Bristol Motor Speedway before the end of the Sharpie 500, and Scott Riggs was called on as a possible replacement.

At first, this looks dumb because the RCR team was doing all it could to get the car ready to go back onto the race track, get some points, and keep Harvick in chase contention.  Then again, Harvick was frustrated since the damage was not his fault; it was "collateral damage" from the Newman/Jarrett collision.

What would you have done?
