UPDATE: Johnny Benson could become a second driver for Cal Wells, as teammate with Ricky Craven, depending on how sponsorship works out. Wells and Craven haven't had great luck this season and Sunday, Craven's engine broke just seven laps into the race.(Winston Salem Journal)(4-27-2004)

I saw the same report on Jayski today.  I know that Johnny and Cal were working together in the off-season on putting him in a second car if sponsorship came through (which it didn't at the time).  I sure hope they can get something to work for them now.  I'd love to see Ricky Craven and Johnny as teammates!

Only saw it on Jayski.  Nothing was said last night on Inside Cup.  I would love to see him back in cup full time.  My heart just breaks for his bad luck.  He is a decent driver and I wish luck would go his way.  Did I tell you that I still boycott Lycos?  Only yesterday I told someone and asked them not to use that search engine.

35th in points after running all nine races.  Johnny has only run 4 Cup races this year and is only 5 places lower than him in 40th.

Sometimes I wonder if cars are jinxed.  Seems whoever drives #10 and #25 always has bad luck by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Has anyone else noticed this?  Part of Scott's problems are his but it seems like bad luck follows those 2 #'s.
