My Scene Daily newsletter today said that the law suit has been settled, that Tex. and AZ will get another date each, The Rock is dead, and Darlington will only have 1 date, probably the Sat. before Mother's Day.  Brian France has done it.  I find this very interesting, since the word is that tickets for the May CAL race are going slowly..people opting for the "Southern/Western 500.  Wonder how they'll feel if they don't see out 2 dates there?  Hmmm.

My typing strikes again:  I meant SELL OUT two dates there.  Sorry.

Another sign that NASCAR as we know it is dying.

Pray for all of us "real race fans"

I hate to see Rockingham go.  Two at Phoenix will be nice but Texas will be just another cookie cutter race and boring.  I just hope they don't get rid of any of the short tracks.
