Anybody notice that there was NO "symbolic handoff" from FOX to NBC at the end of the telecast.  In the past, especially after Sonoma, somebody from the NBC/TNT announce team would be in either the booth or the Hollywood Hotel to accept the "symbolic handoff".
I think that FOX also did this after the Pepsi 400.
Is FOX mad about NASCAR declining to pick up the 2 option years on the TV contract?  It will be interesting to see if today gets remembered.

I think the last time they did that was in 2002 or 2003.

I am also surprised that no one from NBC or TNT was at Infineon Raceway yesterday, but I think Fox will return, not at the option price but at a higher price for a completely new contract.

Someone (it may have been me) have already posted this opinion in the past.
