Lou and I will be heading out for Martinsville and South Boston at 0-dark-30 Friday morning.  We'll be taking the new Mobile Speedcouch Production Trailer on it's maiden race voyage.  While we are away, Vivian has graciously agreed to write the review of the Fox broadcast for Martinsville.  It probably won't be uploaded to the site until we get home Monday late afternoon or evening.

We're skipping the Toyota Truck Series race at Martinsville on Saturday and driving over to South Boston for the USAR Hooters Race that day.  We'd much rather pay $30 to get pit passes and spend all day in the pits talking to the drivers and crews than watch the hoopla that will be made about DW running in the truck race.

We should have tons of pictures from both the Cup and USAR races to post when we get back.  We love those short tracks!  Finally we'll see some good racing!

Ya'll be good while we're gone.

So, you hate Mr. Boogity Boogity Boogity that much, don't you

Anyway, have fun.

P.S. Does "0-dark-30" mean 12:30 a.m.?  I think so, but I want confirmation.

Thanks for the good wishes, Dick and Desmond!

Yes, you are right on 0-dark-30.  Lou and I just exaggerate and say that.  We really get up at 4 a.m. and hit the road by 5 a.m. on race trips to avoid the Washington DC rush hour.
