Hi did anyone else around the country have problems with their fox station?

Or was it just a problem here in illinois?

Because my cousin who is 10  years old asked me to record the 600 for him and our fox channel here was blurry it looked green purple all kinds of colors.

Thing i'm most upset about is how i'm going to have to explain what happened to my 10 year old cousin he went camping and asked me to record the race for him.

Cause i know he's probably going to ask me why is the color so blurry what's wrong he's going to ask me what happened i can't answer those questions.

I mean if you seen it the problem you would understand it.

Sometimes when they interviewed a driver it reminded me of seeing 1 of those old cartoons when the charcter's face when he's about to puke the face changes colors or well you know how in the old cartoon's some of the charcter's faces changed colors?

Mark martin's viagra car looked purple and no there was nothing wrong with the color of my tv either.

Was the problem nationwide or just here in illinois?

Cause when i woke up this morning or sunday morning i mean the network was all blurry.

And it was still like that when the race was being ran.

I'm thinking e-mailing fox if i have too.

Even though e-mailing fox probably wouldn't do anything.

We have problems a lot in illinois with our fox network. It goes out a lot it really makes me upset we missed rusty's win in 2001 at california cause our fox network went out.

Just the deal with the fox network in a way it makes me feel like i let my cousin down in some way.

I'm sure he would tell me that there's nothing that could be done but still.

My cousin likes several drivers even though he is 10 he likes dale jarrett kasey kahne carl edwards and several others.

Just can't think of which other ones he likes.

I think that's all i can't think of for now.

Yes, the standard definition broadcasts we get over DirecTV have been that way for several weeks now.  All washed out and blurry.

Our HD antenna signal was breaking up for the first hour or two last night, but when we switched to the SD picture off the dish, it was hard to recognize many of the cars because of the blur.  I don't know what Fox is doing, but it's really sad looking.  Thankfully, about 7:30, the HD signal settled down, so we were able to watch that the rest of the night.  Obviously Fox can't broadcast clear signals on both formats at the same time.

Bryan, I had no problems with the feed I received here in southern California.  So something happened at the local affiliate, and you must contact the station to complain about the problem.

The best thing to do is take down the station's call letters and city of license, then call information to learn its telephone number.  It will almost certainly also have a web site.

We got the modified TSN feed (they took over the Fox channel affliates here on our dish) but the picture was perfectly fine..

Sorry you will have to give the bad news to your cousin.
