On April 9, Rhys Millen won the Toyota Pro Celebrity Race at the Long Beach Grand Prix.  He is a professional drifter (that's the new discipline of auto racing in which the cars go sideways).  Frankie Muniz was the top celebrity finisher.  Karl Malone finished 14th, and Meat Loaf was last.

Speed Channel televised the races Sunday, against the NASCAR Nextel Cup Aaron's 499.

Earlier this month, I reported on the first day of Grand Prix activity for this site, which led to a discussion of whether NASCAR should hold street races or celebrity exhibitions.  The response was negative in both cases.
