Here's today's article by Mike Mulhern with a lot of rumors about possible schedule shake-ups for the 2005 season:

Knowing NASCAR, they won't announce anything like this until they are sure people have already sent their money in to renew their tickets for next year.

The only thing we can count on for sure is that, whatever the schedule is, it will include lots more races at tracks that have less than exciting races.  Parade laps at speed.  Quirky, one of a kind tracks that require driver skills are out.  Places with lots of seats and fancy concessions are in, since that's obviously the most important thing these days.
