Well we certainly had a tighter race in our league than the actual race at New Hampshire.  But Clay edged out Vicki and got the win with 288 points.  Vicki was just 3 points back in 2nd.  Cheryl was a bit further back in 3rd, 21 points behind.  Keith was 4th, 39 points back and Bill was 5th, 76 points back.  Lou keeps his string going!  With bad finishes, this week in 6th, 86 points back.  It seems we've definitely lost Diane and Desmond and it's a shame since they were both doing well.  Keith's strong finish keeps him in the 2nd Half YTD lead, with Vicki just 20 points back in 2nd.  With Diane not playing again this week coupled with Clay's big win, Clay takes over 3rd spot YTD.  Bill is 4th, Cheryl 5th and Lou is 6th.  Thanks to everyone for sticking with us!  Next up, one of my favorite tracks on the circuit:  Dover Downs!  I'm pretty certain we'll see more competitve racing than we have the last two weeks.

First off, I want to thank you all again for your patience over the last two weeks.  And a special thanks to Bill, Vicki, Keithy and Clay for sticking with us for the rest of the season.  It looks like we have the truly dedicated players only sticking with us. Vicki was able to pull out from a tight battle this week to get the win with 240 points.  Clay was just tick behind with 233 points and Keith finished in 3rd with 231 points.  Even though Cheryl and Lou did not have the same drivers, somehow they tied for 4th with 217 points.  Bill was 6th with 213 points.  Unfortunately, Diane and Desmond were not able to get their teams in before this race.  Hopefully, they will join us in the future.  Until then, Keith was able to take over the 2nd Half YTD lead and Vicki moved up to 2nd, just 56 points behind.  Diane drops to 3rd, now 158 back and Bill is 4th, 164 points back.  Despite strong finishes this week, Clay, Cheryl and Lou and running way down in the standings.  Again, we can't thank you enough for sticking wish us.  Next up, another boring track at New Hampshire.

Looks  like our run of fun is over. The collective racing fantasy racing site is down and over for good. Here's a message from the site owner.

I sincerely apologize to all the great people that have continued to play my Fantasy Racing game over the years. I feel horrible that this happened in the middle of a season, but the company hosting my web site did an upgrade on the system which broke my Fantasy Racing. I have tried to fix it, but to no avail. It's been a fun 22 years. You stuck around even though the game is very out-dated. I kept it running as long as I could for you. This is just a hobby for me, and the game was the only part of the site that I managed to keep functional -- until now. Thanks to all the awesome people I have gotten to know over the years -- I hope our paths cross some day! --Jim

Sorry we don't have the results up yet. We casually looked them up on Monday and saw that Clay won but when we went back to record all the details and scores, the site was down.

It's still down and not sure when it will be back up. We'll keep checking it and get the results posted as soon as possible.

Woo-hoo!!!  Diane  is a on a roll!  With the win in our group this week and her 5th win in the 2nd Half, she now stands 12th in the entire universe!  Awesome job, Diane!  Bill was 2nd this week, 9 points back and 57th in the nation.  Keith was a strong 3rd, just 14 back and 71st in the nation.  Cheryl seems to have got swept up in all the wrecks at Bristol and DNFd, finishing last in our group.  The standings remain the same, but Diane has lengthened her lead over Keith, now by 73 points YTD.  Good job everyone!  You'll have a week vacation to rest up for the Lady in Black in two weeks!  Thanks for playing!

Cheryl picks up her 2nd win this half! Congratulations! She was followed closely by Clay and Vicki. Desmond and points leader Diane finished 4th and 5th.  There were no changes in the point standings with Diane remaining in charge and picking up a couple of points over Keith and losing a couple of points to Vicki. Lou still has a death grip on last place... On to another track where your fantasy picks will require more luck than skill - Bristol!

Despite vacationing in Nashville, Diane still gets the win in our group this week and an amazing 5th in the entire nation!  Great job, Diane!  Bill was 2nd, 37 points back and 86th in the nation.  Desmond was 3rd, 55 points back and 135th in the nation.  Even though they were "partying to the max" with Diane, Vicki and Keith finished 4th and 5th respectively.  Again this week, Lou finished in the last spot.  With her win, Diane retakes the 2nd Half YTD lead, over Keith, who drops to 2nd, now 49 points back.  Vicki remains in 3rd, 91 points back.  Thanks to everyone for playing!  Up next, the fast track at Michigan!!!

Keith continues his roll, getting his 2nd consecutive win this week and a phenomenal 2nd in the entire universe!  Awesome job, Keith!  Vicki was 9 points back in 2nd in our group and 12th in the nation.  Bill rounded out the top 3, 25 points back and 46th in the nation. Despite a strong 4th place run this week, Diane loses the YTD lead to Keith, who is now 14th in the nation.  But Diane is only 12 points back in YTD standing.  Vicki is 3rd, 47 points back.  Desmond is 4th YTD, 71 points back.  Because of their strong finishes, Bill and Clay jump up in the YTD standings taking over 5th and 6th respectively.  Subpar runs by both Cheryl and Lou drop them to 7th and 8th.  At this point, Lou looks like he may not defend his 1st Half YTD win.  Thanks to everyone for playing!  Next up, we turn right and left at the road course at Watkins Glen.

Well Keith seemed to be the last man standing at Indy and got the win in our group and 8th in the entire nation!  Great job, Keith  Just 9 points behind was Diane, who keeps her strong run going and finished 15th in the naiton.  Cheryl finished 3rd, 21 points back and 42nd in the nation. Desmond and Vicki had a photo finish for 4th in our group and 57th in the nation. Looks like Lou, Bill and Clay all got swept up in the dozens of cautions at the end so they finished 6th, 7th and 8th in our group.  Diane's strong finish keeps her in the YTD lead in our group and she moves up to 11th in the nation!!!  Keith's win moves him up to 2nd YTD and he is now only 30 points behind Diane.  Desmond drops to 3rd YTD and is now 37 poins out of the lead.  Vicki remains in 4th and is now 68 points behind her sister.  Cheryl's strong run this week finally gets her moving back up the rankings (from last) and she now sits 5th YTD, 117 behind Diane.  Unfortunately Clay's DNF this week moves him down the rankings and he is now 7th in our group.  Thanks to everyone for playing!  Next up, the Tricky Triangle of Pocono.

Diane is on a roll!  She's get her 2nd win in a row this week and takes over the top spot in the YTD standings!  Fantastic job, Diane!!!  Bill was 2nd this week, just 6 points back and Keith was 3rd, 15 points back.  Desmond is now 2nd YTD, 14 points back.  Keith is 3rd, 39 points back and Vicki is 4th, just 5 back.  Up next, another boring track at Indy.  Thanks to everyone for playing!
