Apparently Keith used the Bump and Run on Cheryl to edge her at the line for the win this week and 237 points.  Cheryl was just one point behind in 2nd.  Desmond was 3rd, 19 points back.  The YTD standings remain the same, but Cheryl's strong finish knocked a few points off of Bill's lead.  Cheryl is now just 17 back in 2nd and Keith is 84 back on 3rd place.  Thanks to everyone for playing!  Next up, another great short track:  Richmond!

Bill's team was on fire at Texas!  He got the win and 261 points this week.  Vicki was way back in 2nd, 47 points back and Desmond was 3rd, 57 points back.  Rita and Diane had a photo finish for 4th, 72 points back.  Cheryl's team blew a lot of tires or got collected in wrecks, so she finishes way back in 6th this week.  Bill's win coupled with Cheryl's bad finish allows Bill to take over the YTD lead by 69 points!  Great job, Bill!.  Cheryl drops to 2nd and Keith remains in 3rd, but is now 137 points behind Bill.  Thanks to everyone for playing!  Next up, the beatin and bangin of Bristol.

Despite braving the elements at the track, Keith managed to come home with the victory in our group this week and 246 points!  Bill was just 6 points back in 2nd, and Cheryl 10 points back in 3rd.  This trio seems to have a stranglehold on the YTD standings and they are still on the podium.  Cheryl still leads, but Bill's good finish pulled him to within only 6 points YTD.  Keith remains in 3rd place, but is now only 39 points back.  Thanks to everyone for playing!  After all the beatin' and bangin' at Martinsville, we all probably need a week off to repair our teams.  We'll be back in two weeks for Texas.  In the meantime, everyone have a Happy Easter!!!

Well California finally brought Lou his 1st win of the season and 229 points!  Rita had her first runner up finish, just 9 points back.  Diane was 3rd, 10 points back. And Desmond and Clay had a photo finish for 4th this week.  Unfortunately, Cheryl and Vicki seems to have blown tires, finishing at the bottom of the heap this week.  The YTD standing remain the same, although them tightened up just a bit a the top.  Cheryl still leads, but Bill is now only 10 points back in 2nd.  and Keith is just 49 back in 3rd.  Thanks to everyone for playing!  Finally on to some good ol' beatin and bangin at the short track at Martinsville next week!!!

Keith barely edged Bill at the line to get the win and 221 points this week.  Bill finished just one point behind in 2nd.  Vicki was 3rd with 212 points and just 9 points behind Keith.  Lou seems to have blown up, finishing last in our group this week. The YTD standings remain the same with Cheryl still leading by 14 points over Bill, with Keith now just 68 back in 3rd.  Sisters Vicki and Diane are now tied for 4th (no sibling rivalry there).  On to California Speedway next week (or whatever they call it now).  Thanks to everyone for playing!

I'm going to work on some way for us all to better know what our team from the previous race was to make things a bit simpler for us all. Might take a bit more time but hang in there !

Despite not liking the Las Vegas track, Cheryl somehow managed to win this week, with 277 points.  Diane was just 18 points back in 2nd.  Bill and Rita had a photo finish for 3rd place, 36 points back.  Vicki was 5th.  Clay and Keith finished at the back of the pack 92 and 100 points behind Cheryl.  With the win, Cheryl was able to retake the YTD lead.  Bill remains in 2nd, only 29 points back.  Keith drops to 3rd YTD, now 84 points back.  Next week, we'll be racing at Phoenix.  Thanks to everyone for playing!

This week, we have a new player joining us:  Rita and Lucky Dog Racing!  Things were a little less random at Atlanta and Keith brought home the win this week with 232 points.  Bill was 2nd with 217 points.  Vicki and Clay had a photo finish and tied for 3rd with 211 points.  We also had a tie for 6th between Lou and Diane.  Unfortunately, Rita finished last in her first outing, but I'm sure she'll get the hang of it and be kicking our butts soon.  She IS a "race mom" after all.  With his win this week, Keith takes over the YTD lead.  Bill is now 2nd YTD, just 9 points back and Cheryl drops to 3rd, 16 points back.  As always, thanks to everyone for playing!  On to Las Vegas next week.

Welcome back for another season of fantasy racing! After all the carnage and controversy at Daytona, Cheryl emerged as the winner in our group this week, with 220 points.  But she barely squeeked by Bill at the line who finished just 1 point back.  Keith was a few places back in 3rd, with 213 points.  The rest of the field seemed to be swept up in the carnage.  Desmond was 4th, with 179 points; Vicki 5th, with 176 points; Lou 6th with 155; Diane 7th with 54; and Clay bringing up the rear with 150 points.  Thanks to everyone for joining us again this season and good luck to us all in the coming weeks.  On to Atlanta next week!

Well we have several winners to celebrate this week!  Cheryl won the Homestead race with 215 points.  Clay was 2nd, just 4 points back and Vicki was 3rd, 14 points back.  Good job to all of us!  Keith won the 2nd Half YTD trophy with 4056 points!  Great job, Keith!  Vicki was in 2nd, just 31 points back.  Clay was 3rd, 106 points back; Bill was 4th, 154 points back and the rest of us were also-rans.  Unfortunately our 1st Half YTD winner, Lou, went from the Penthouse to the Outhouse in the 2nd half, finishing 613 points out of the lead.  But we have a surprise winner for the combined two halves for the entire season:  Vicki!!!!  Her amazing consistency allowed her to finish in 2nd place for both halves, but bring home the Season Championship!!!  Way to go Vicki!  At this time, Lou and I want to thank you all for sticking with us through the last couple months after Collective Racing shut down.  We hope you return in February to play in the Speedcouch Fantasy League again in 2018.  Hopefully, we will have some sort of automated system in place by then.  If not, I'm more than happy to do everything manually like we have the last few months.  Again, thanks for playing and everyone have a great Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year!  Cheryl

Well the Funk Express has become a bullet train, winning the 2nd week in a row, this week with 274 points.  Congratulations Clay!   Vicki was 2nd, 34 points back, Desmond was 3rd, 49 points back, and Keith was 4th, 51 points back.  Cheryl seems to have been derailed, finishing last, 104 points back.  While Keith retains the 2nd Half YTD lead, Vicki has now closed to within 42 points in 2nd.  Clay's win allowed him to jump up to 3rd, now 127 points back.  Bill falls to 4th, 153 points back.  The rest of us are also-rans.  So it's down to just ONE race in the season!  Can Vicki catch Keith?  Can Clay keep his winning streak going and possibly overtake Vicki for 2nd.  Stay tuned!  Our fantasy will probably have more drama that the actual NASCAR Championship next week at Homestead.  As always, thanks to everyone for playing!
