Title: No Doublefile for Trucks
Post by: Cheryl on July 29, 2009, 11:23:09 AM
I heard about this last Sunday from Pat Paterson on Sirius XM.  NA$CAR sure is keeping this pretty mum.  Pat's comment was that NA$CAR is trying to save the truck teams money this season and all the torn up sheet metal from the doublefile restarts would end up costing them more.

Funny, if it's so wonderful for the upper divisions, that it's not being instituted in the truck series?  Not that I'm complaining.  So far, I haven't seen that it's done anything but interject fake "excitement" and create more carnage.  Mark Martin would've won that race on Sunday if Johnson hadn't been able to start alongside him on the final restart.
