Title: Charlotte Removing Seats for High-End RV Spots
Post by: Cheryl on January 27, 2009, 02:42:44 PM
I guess they figure it worked for Daytona to put in all those $1200 camping spots.  I just remember when they put in that big grandstand over in turn 2 at Charlotte and it's really never been filled.  Talk about overbuilding...

Daytona and Phoenix are now following suit in removing seats, although Daytona seems to be just upgrading some (with a price increase I'm sure):

Las Vegas has had the large backstretch area for RVs for years. I always thought that it was a neat idea, but of course could never afford to get a big rig and the "campspot" as well. I'll bet that it is one helluva party at those areas. ::)
